To commemorate the 400th anniversary of the publication of the First Folio, Shakespeare’s Birthplace Museum in Stratford Upon Avon, are organising a year-long celebration of the impact of this special volume. Containing 36 plays, including 18 famous titles that would have been lost to the world otherwise, the First Folio brought together Shakespeare’s work in a single publication. Visit throughout 2023 and be a part of these important anniversary celebrations with a host of events and the launch of a brand new exhibition that will explore the long-lasting legacy of the book on our culture.
